Business Development Associate

Position:

Reporting to the CEO, the business development associate identifies, develops and maintains business relationships with U.S. based customers in order to achieve the sales objectives determined by the high management. He will be mainly responsible for:

  • Market research
  • Lead generation and qualification.
  • Sales database management in SalesForce
  • Management of Email and LinkedIn campaigns
  • New customers generation and on-boarding
  • Upselling existing customers
  • Activities and sales reporting

More specifically, his/her tasks will be:

  • Cold calls along with email campaigns
  • Response to interest on leads generated by Marketing
  • Phone follow-ups to mailings, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives
  • Other Direct Sales initiatives as defined by Company
  • Client presentations via GoToMeeting or others online platforms
  • Proposals preparation and follow-up
  • Support partners during presentations, proposals and negotiation phases
  • Kick-off meetings with Project Managers
  • Satisfaction follow-ups
  • Weekly review with CEO and other sales associates
  • Assistance in reviews and information gathering to Project Managers
  • Assistance to Project managers in resolution of sensitive client issues
  • Facilitate collection of accounts receivables as needed

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum in B2B Sales to the US market
  • Sales experience in software or technologies, a plus
  • 5 year experience using a CRM / SalesForce preferably
  • Masters MS Office suite
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Working conditions:

  • Full time position
  • On-site work with flexibility to work remotely
  • Occasional business trip in US (2-3 times/year)
